DO YOU KNOW THAT…Kansas City is the home of an Army Recruiting Battalion where the Army Recruiters and Command Teams are all active duty Soldiers.

There is a Kansas City District Command for the US Army Corps of Engineers and many of the assigned personnel are civilians.

Nearly 40% of newly commissioned Army officers are graduates of an ROTC program and that all Professors of Military Science are active duty Soldiers.

Our event this month is the first of a new program series called “Meet Your Army.”

It is a panel program and networking event that introduces you to various units that reside or operate in the KC Metro, conducting missions and activities that support national and regional objectives for our Army.

This month, our panelists are the following:
LTC Kathleen Moffatt, Commander of the KC Army Recruiting Battalion

CPT Curtis Million, Project Engineer, KC District of the US Army Corp of Engineers

MAJ Adam Duvall, Deputy Professor of Military Science for the Pony Express Army ROTC Battalion (comprised of cadets from Avila, Benedictine, Park, NW Missouri State, Missouri Western State, UMKC, Rockhurst, William Jewell, and Calvary Bible College)
